how do i keep skiing goggles fog free?

The reason the goggles fog is the difference in temperature between the air inside the goggles and the outside air. The warmer air if wet inside the goggles will cause fogging. Think of what happens to your car on a cold winter night.

Yes you can buy products to apply to your goggles to prevent the fog. Rain-X will not do anything as it is a water-repellant. I recommend the ones for swimming goggles. The large brands Speedo or TYR make them. Less than $5 at most sporting equipment stores.

Benefit of using anti-fog drops is your goggles are plastic and swim goggles are plastic. If you put things like grease not designed for goggle surfaces you might ruin the goggle surface permanently. As always test on a corner before applying to the entire goggle.
